women's bible school
In the Haitian culture the women are often forgotten in the church. The goal of the women’s bible study is reach out to these women, so they can touch their families and the children in their neighborhood.
The bible school is a three year curriculum where they study:
– Romans
– The Gospel of John
– How to study the bible
Each of the ladies is required to read and is presented with a French study bible at the beginning of the week.
It is the goal of the bible school to have each of the ladies go back to their home church to bless their home church in the same way they were blessed at the school.
Along with the intense lectures, the instructors use simple crafts and games as picture lessons to make the scriptures real to each of the ladies.
